Justice League Dark #10
Justice League #10
Writer: Jeff Lemire
Art: Mikel Janin
Cover Art: Ryan Cook
I've always wondered how easy it is to pick up a storyline in a comic book mid way through a series, not everyone can get their hands on a 1st issue or maybe even the first couple issues so is the story still followable??
This is the first time I'm reading Justice League Dark and it starts off with issue number 10 of the New 52.
Wow, only the first page and you are already introduced to I guess all the main characters and the plot of the story, it's written fantastically well! On the hunt for a powerful magical artifact...
An introduction to the Madame Xanadu...is she good or evil?? Protecting a map from the A.R.G.U.S (the government?) But, who else wants to put their grubby little hands on it...intro some action! And in ends with a hanger...just the way I like it!
My rating
3 stars
Good storyline, easy to pick up could probably do with a little more action. Art work is not fantastic but the entire package is not bad. I'll give another a go at some point.Book supplied by wickedinkcomics.co.uk

Earth 2 #1 DC Comics
Earth 2 #1
Writer: James Robinson
Penciller: Nicola Scott
Inker: Trevor Scott
My first review opens up with earth 2 #1, not the first comic I've read - that honour goes to Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E, not the greatest but did the job in getting me into comics - so job done!
Superman and Wonder Woman get their butts kicked and Super Girl gets called in to save some ass...what happens to Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman?
We end off with the introduction of some new super hero's...who could they be?
My rating
4 stars
Very good superhero art work, action packed storyline and leaves me wondering what happens next.
I highly recommend, this one is going to do well!
